1. They actually sound quite similiar. The only actually differnce between them is the message they are trying to get across with their songs.
2. Simon and Garfunkel sings about being alone. And that they dont need anybody to survive. They can be alone and that works great for them. Gerry and The peacemaker sings about walking together trough pain, and that however you feel you will never walk alone. The difference is that the first song is all about being alone, while the other is about being toghether.
3.I liked the song from Gerry and the peacemakers, because they sing about walking together trough the pain, and that you will never walk alone trough that. Together we can achieve many things and that means success.
No man is an island: The poem is mainly about that we are not as small as an island, we men are bigger than that, and if we see that somone else is having a struggle, we feel for them and we dont like that. Thats because we care for eachother and we dont like seeing somone struggle.
